Should you vehicle fail its MOT, we’ll explain exactly what faults were found, and present them in a report. We’ll also provide a straight forward quote to undertake the work, which will include all parts, labour and VAT. Should you agree to the work, we can typically undertake the repairs on the same day – saving you from waiting around and having to manage without your vehicle.

How long will your MOT take?

Typically MOTs take around 60 minutes, however they can be longer if we need to undertake minor repairs (we will, however, always provide you with a quote prior to undertaking any work).

How often do you need to MOT your car?

Your vehicle must go through an MOT test every 12 months after its third birthday. If you’re unsure as to whether or when your MOT may be due then you can check the national database here.

Can we cover class 7 MOTs?

Yes – as well as providing class 4 MOTs (for cars), we also undertake MOT tests for vehicles that weigh between 3 and 3.5 tonnes (this may include vans, pickups and transits).

What does the MOT test check?

Do you have to pay for an MOT re-test?

If we undertake repairs for you, then you won’t have to pay for a further MOT test. If, however, you take your car away and return it later than 10 days, then a further re-test fee will be charged.
